Combine cards to create new words
Dubbelwoord combines words by pairing two image cards to form a single new word. For example, “regen” and “boog” become “regenboog,” and “schild” and “pad” become “schildpad” (in English: rainbow and turtle). By combining words, children discover how compound words work. The game can be played in various ways: naming the words, playing memory, or inventing as many new combinations as possible.
