Light, heavy, heavier - feel the weight
Heavier or lighter makes weight visible. Which object is heavier or lighter? Children sort image cards in order and decide which item weighs more or less. They start with two cards and gradually build sequences of three or four to compare weights more precisely. Sorting the cards gives insight into weight relationships. The game supports language development by helping children describe differences in weight and making abstract concepts like light, heavy, and heavier more concrete.
