Measure the animal makes measurement concrete by giving animals a
tail, neck or trunk. Who has the longest? Children choose a task card and build the animal using peg blocks to match the correct length. By comparing lengths, they gain insight into size and proportion. The color- coded die adds a playful element by randomly assigning a long or short body part.
